Slot 1A

Lainie will be presenting:

"Developing Questions for Divination"

I'll talk about the importance of crafting good questions in divinatory questions. We'll start with questions we can ask ourselves about our motivations and intentions when doing a reading, then proceed to crafting a question that helps us get the answers we want and need.

Slot 1B
Panel 1:

The Role of Religion in Magic: Magicians discuss how religion plays a role in their practice and discuss it's necessity.

Slot 2A

Shawn will be presenting: Ancient Egyptians

The ancient Egyptians have fascinated us for millenia and their influence is seen in both the practices and the pop culture of the occult landscape. But Egyptian myth and magic were the product of many different streams of thought combining into one system, like the Western Mystery Tradition of today. Shawn will illustrate some of these different ways of thinking and present an introduction to magick, myth, and mummification in the birthplace of Hermeticism.

Slot 2B
Panel 2:

Magic with the Dead: Halloween is just around the corner. Magicians discuss their views on spirits of the dead and whether they incorporate them into their personal practice.

Slot 3A

Andrei will be presenting:

WE USE 10%, THE OTHER 90% USES US: PLUMBING THE SUBCONSCIOUS

What the F*#K did that sign just say? Oh, ‘Diner'! Sorry, I thought it said dild… never mind.

Why do we misread signs? Why do the words we misread seem to always be things that either make us comfortable or worse cause those close to us to say, “That is ‘so’ you!”

We will be exploring how the subconscious eats everything we feed it and then brings it back up (much like a queasy stomach) when we least expect it. Fun with Egregores, Earworms (brainworms), fandoms, and societal conditioning.

Come one, come all. Come early, come often.

Slot 3B

Ernest S. McCloskey has been practicing Energy Working for 20+ years. His field of study is closely related to Psionics, Pyschic Vampirism, Reiki, and even Omnimancy. The knowledge he is passing on is gleamed from direct experience and experimentation and not from books. His past lectures have been on theory, fundamentals and requirements to work energy into your environment. This years lecture will be focused on bringing it into the real world and effecting the environment and people around you. If you wish to contact him further, you can find him at http://www.curio93.com

Slot 4A

Jason will be presenting: HIMALAYAN SORCERY

Dr Strange. Dr Doom. The Shadow. Mandrake the Magician. Even Batman: what do all these comic book characters have in common: TIBET. For hundreds of years, secluded at the top of the world, Tibetans have put as much effort into magic and mysticism as the west has into technology and industry. So, being a bit of a comic book geek, naturally when I felt I had attained a certain adeptship in western magic I decided to head to the Himalayas and learn from Tibetan Sorcerers.

Today, Tibetan Buddhism has spread all over the world, and has established Dharma Centers and Monasteries in nearly every western country, and Lamas go on world tour giving empowerments and secret teachings that were formerly restricted to very few. Yet, because they have to present a respectable face to the world, and because so many dharma students are interested only in the moral, psychological, and meditative aspects of the path, people coming from a background in occultism or witchcraft often have trouble finding the teachings that they are interested in.

Because my own main teacher, Lama Vajranatha the first westerner to be made a Ngakpa, had a background in Western Magic, I have received a unique education in the magic of Tibet. In this class I will teach a brief overview of both magical rituals that Tibetans use in Sorcery, and the higher level yogas that yield actual siddhis - or psych-magic abilities. The class will end with a short transmission of Kurukulla - the Goddess of Witchcraft and Enchantment.

Slot 4B

Jhada and Ahmadi will be presenting:

This spring Jhada and Ahmadi decided to start doing talks on their methods of working with spirits and the energy, magic and tools involved with petitioning and honoring the Sacred and Forgotten Dead and the ancestors that walk with you. Many that have worked as colleagues of Jhada and Ahmadi have discovered that having the aid and blessing of one's Ancestors and Sacred Dead have been beneficial to their ritual workings, healing arts and other various magical and spiritual endeavors and so they felt it was time to talk about and teach what they have learned and practice daily.

Some of what they talk about covers:

  • Sacred Space: How to make it in accordance to honoring those in your family that have passed before you, both known and unknown.
  • Honoring the Forgotten Dead: Different methods of helping to remember heal and elevate the souls of people that have been lost in tragic events, both man-made and natural.
  • Cemetery Etiquette: Ways to work on the hallowed ground of the cemetery that respects the spirits present there. How to gather grave dirts according to the African traditions and how to petition the Dead for their help in spells, healing work and other endeavors.

We also speak of our different encounters, both together and individually in the world of the paranormal.

Slot 5A

Arthur will be presenting on:

Omnimancy: Astral Biology

The spirit is normally simply referred to in many texts, and rarely gone into much detail other than certain abstractions about what is actually making it up or how it works and why. Within Omnimancy, many years of study and experimentation have not only yielded a practical mapping of how things work, but how to use that to one's advantage. While certainly not everything can be covered as complex as a spirit really is, the lecture aims to give an anatomy of a human spirit, as well as some practical spells based on this knowledge for both healing and enhancements.

Slot 5B

Sam will be presenting on:

"Mathesis: Towards a Greek Kabbalah"

Although the traditions of ancient Greece provide the foundation for most Western occulture, the use of Greek techniques and tools is underrepresented in modern Western magic, especially that which falls under the banner of Hermeticism. Most Hermetic magic practiced today is based on the studies of those who focus on the use of Jewish mysteries, especially kabbalah. While the spiritual technology and philosophy of Jewish, Christian, and Hermetic kabbalah has been invaluable to the development of Hermeticism, Hermetic occulture does not make the best use of kabbalah as Jewish kabbalists do, and even then, kabbalah may not be the best fit for the modern non-Jewish Hermeticist. As a non-kabbalistic alternative to the practice of the Great Work, Sam Block (polyphanes) will discuss a new approach to Hermetic magic using an innovative theurgical and cosmological framework based on Pythagorean and Neoplatonic philosophies called "mathesis", meaning "teaching of the mysteries".

Slot 6A

Andrieh will be presenting on:

Mass of Chaos Vibrational Baphomet (Full Ritual Performance)

"Inside, Andrieh Vitimus moves to the center of a large chaos star with an inner spirit circle, drawn meticulously on the floor. Images and statues of Baphomet, edge the spirit circle. The incense blurs the dark room. There is a sense of anticipation building in the room. A sense, a knowledge that something unexplainable, something terrible, something wonderful is about to happen." --- Quote from one of the Masses of Chaoses Andrieh has done.

Using techniques developed by master Vitimus, Andrieh and the Quantum Life Science Institute will perform a Vibrational Mass of Chaos. The transformation will begin.

Slot 6B

Maggi will be presenting on:

Shadow Work and Tarot

The Major Arcana of the tarot can be used as keys for self examination, for unlocking hidden power, and for increasing balance in your life. In this workshop we will examine how to access the shadow questions of the tarot and use these cards for self-discovery, growth, and transformation.

Panel Discussions

The Role of Religion in Magic: Magicians discuss how religion plays a role in their practice and discuss it's necessity.

Magic with the Dead: Halloween is just around the corner. Magicians discuss their views on spirits of the dead and whether they incorporate them into their personal practice.

PRESENTORS

Inominandum

Jason Miller, Inominandum, is a full-time Author, Sorcerer, and Teacher. From an early age he studied both High Ceremonial Magic and folk magic techniques of Rootwork and Witchcraft finding that together, each approach strengthened the other and made for a Sorcery that could be streamlined and startlingly effective. Desiring to go deepern he did what all his childhood mystical superheroes like Dr Strange, Mandrake, The Shadow, and Dr Doom did: moved to the Himalayas.

It was in Nepal that Jason received the training he would need to do Sorcery the way that he always knew it could be done. When he came back to the west he began to seek the hidden skills in non-magical disciplines like finance and love, and mingle them with magic. This was the birth of Strategic Sorcery.

He is the author of several books including "Financial Sorcery: Magical Strategies to Create Real and Lasting Wealth" and the forthcoming "Sex, Sorcery, and Spirit: Secrets of Erotic Magic" as well as the acclaimed Strategic Sorcery Course.
